  1. May your journey be very successful and pleasant. Your digital journal should be a family treasure for several generations. Good luck Moe!

      1. We are stuck in Tekirdag, Turkiye for last 5 days waiting for the custom to release our car. Too much of bureaucracy.
That’s unknown part of the journey, always brings you surprises.
Thanks for checking and hope all is well.

        Regards,

        1. No doubt many challenges await. For us normal people it is an amazing journey we want to experience through your efforts. Thanks,

  4. Moe, Your map still says you’re in Tekireg but one of your later comments said you moved to somewhere else in Turkey. I saw you were held up by customs for several days. Have you been able to travel like you wanted since the care was released by customs? Can you post a picture of you and Junko?

  6. I hope you are enjoying your journey through Georgia.
Don’t go marching in any of those parades!

  7. How is the journey going? Where are you now? Has the SUV been as good as expected? Any items you should have brought that you didn’t? Hope all is well,
    Brian

    1. Our journey is going great so far. We have seen amazing places, people and food. We are in Baku Azerbaijan. GX460 is amazing car, most reliable and comfortable truck, but the gas milage is not that great. We brought too much stuff with us that we had to give away to make space in our SUV and make border crossing and custom inspection easier and faster. Georgia is an amazing country, people are so friendly and hospitable, food is so fresh, organic and healthy. Great country…great chacha, best wine in the world, specially amber wine.
Thanks for checking in. Hope all is well, be safe, be blessed.
